Make 10!
Spot the numbers, make 10 and claim your spaces!
Take turns finding numbers next to each other that add up to 10. They can be horizontal, vertical or diagonal, and you don't have to stop at two numbers. If you can spot three, four or more neighbouring numbers that total 10, you can claim them all!
Make 10! is a simple number game designed to build confidence with number bonds, addition and mental maths through play.
How to play
Each player chooses their own colour.
Take turns finding two or more numbers next to each other that add up to 10. The numbers can connect horizontally, vertically or diagonally.
Found a combination? Colour or cross off all the numbers you've used in your colour.
Keep taking turns until no more combinations can be found. The player who has claimed the most squares wins.
You’ll need
Different coloured pens or counters for each player
Your printed Make 10! game board
Top tip: Laminate your game board and use whiteboard pens so you can wipe it clean and play again. No laminator? Use coloured counters instead and keep your printed board intact.
